In this post you´ll find some extra listening activities about the last two units you did in class.
UNIT 5 WORK
- Listening 1. Listen to a man talking about what he likes and dislikes about her job, and decide if the sentences are True / False. Make sure to open the track in a new window so that you can listen and read the questions at the same time.
- Listening 2. You will hear Todd talking about jobs. After each segment you´ll have to answer two questions (click on the instructions button on the right before you start).
- Listening 3. You will hear a man and a woman talking about summer jobs. Answer the true/false questions.
UNIT 6 SHOPPING
- Some people talk about their thoughts about shopping online. With a vocabulary and a comprehension quiz.
- Six people give their opinion on shopping. At the end of each audio there are two questions about what they said.
- A man shops at a street market looking for bargains. With a multiple choice comprehension test.
- 6-minute English, a podcast from the BBC on online shopping vs. shopping in shops. No exercises, but it provides a glossary.
